Half of generative art is curation! @bendotk

  1. Amit Patel has written extensively about Hexagons and his pages helped me come up to speed. He has given this a lot of thought, so I have adopted his terminology (pointy-topped) and coordinate systems where it helped me.

  2. No matter what one wants to work on, it seems that some has gotten there far earlier. Case in point: this page by John Greer. I had just worked out a small part of this, when I ran into the whole idea is Kirshombille Tiling.

  3. Art Made by John Greene using Kisrhombille.

  4. This page has John Green’s thoughts and an app to generate beautiful tilings. (I still don’t fully follow all of his terminology, but it is well thought of. “Metagons” and “Jigs” John Green’s explanations
